      WEB SHOP SEARCH (WSS) BETA RELEASE NOTES

      In this article you will find our developer's notes on Web Shop Search (WSS).

      Features/Enhancements:

      • Added WSS admin into the WSM Admin interface.

        • Search Charts (2-weeks by day, 1 week by hour)
        • Current day metrics
        • Top 10 search terms over last 30 days
        • Ability to configure WSS text and colors

      Features/Enhancements:

      • Modified the image and thumbnail URL data to only send back a single image URL instead of all image URLs in our effort to continually transmit the smallest dataset possible. By doing this, we improve (reduce) transmission times allowing product rendering to occur sooner.

      • Fixed an issue where the sale price wasn’t being displayed in the Search Overlay interface

      • Fixed an issue where numbers or keypad weren’t submitting search requests

      • Updated Front-end Product cards to display sale price if the product has one.

      Bug Fixes:

      • Updated Front-end loading spinner to be suppressed when non-Alphanumeric keys are pressed (e.g. Tab, Esc, Insert, Ctrl, etc..).

      • Updated default boosting values of two fields:

        • Brand went up to 5, from 1

        • Meta Keywords went down to 4, from 5

      • Updated default Dealer & Stock ID transforms to also remove colons

      • Front-end Loading spinner hooked to request loaded
