      DIMENSIONAL WEIGHT: SEARCHING FOR PRODUCTS WITH INCOMPLETE INFORMATION

      Dimensional weight is utilized to calculate the billable weight of a shipment on all UPS® and FedEx packages. This new calculation requires that you supply the proper package information for your products.

      Through WSM Manually

      1. Log into the backend of your site.
      2. Hover over Catalog.
      3. Click on Products.
      4. Click the Advanced button next to the Search button.
      5. You will need to search on weight, length, width, height. 
      6. To find products with 0 in all fields enter 0 in both boxes to the right of the label.
      7. Scroll down and click Search.
      8. This will return all products that have 0s in each field you specified.
      9. Click Edit on the product to enter the required data. 

      🔎Note: The Advanced search is setup with AND criteria. If you enter more than on it will only return products that match all criteria.

      Export Process

      There are two ways you can export the data from your website: From the Advanced search screen, after you filter the data, as stated above. Exporting all products.

      Exporting Products from Advanced Search Screen

      1. Complete all steps outlined above.
      2. At the top or bottom of the screen click the dropdown arrow for Select Export Profile.
      3. Select Profile WSM (COPY ONLY) Global Dimensional Weight Data.
      4. Click the green Export button.
      5. Your browser will either download the file or ask you if you want to open or save.
      6. Open the file into Excel and fix the data. 
      7. Follow the Import steps below once you are ready to update the products on your site.

      Exporting all Products

      1. Log into the backend of your site.
      2. Hover over Data.
      3. Click CSV Profiles.
      4. Scroll down the list and look for profile: WSM (COPY ONLY) Global Dimensional Weight Data.
      5. Click the Export icon to the left of that profile name.
      6. Click Okay to confirm the export.
      7. Your browser will either download the file or ask you if you want to open or save.
      8. Open the file into Excel and fix the data. 
      9. Follow the Import steps below once you are ready to update the products on your site.

      Importing Data

      One you have completed the update of your products you can use the same profile to import and update your products. If you have not completed any imports, you may want to visit the Import Section of WSMU.

      ⚠️Caution:

      We ALWAYS recommend that you test run the data import with a few products before running the full file.

      1. Log into the backend of your site.
      2. Hover over Data.
      3. Click CSV Profiles.
      4. Scroll down the list and look for profile: WSM (COPY ONLY) Global Dimensional Weight Data.
      5. Click the Import button.
      6. Click Choose File and located the updated CSV file on your computer.
      7. Click Run Import.
      8. Once the import is complete view some of your products to confirm that data is updated correctly.
