You can use a CSV file to import tracking numbers to a single or multiple orders in WSM.

Tracking File Format:

The file used to add tracking numbers to WSM must include 3 data elements in the following order

  1. Carrier
  2. Tracking Number
  3. WSM Order ID

ie Carrier,TrackingNumber,WSMOrderID


  • File should not have column headings
  • File must be CSV
  • Data should be separated by a comma
  • Carrier must be one of the following
    • UPS
    • USPS
    • DHL USA
    • DHL Global
    • FedEx
    • None

When using None if you want the tracking number to be a link in the order you must supply the tracking number in URL format.

Running the import

Once you have the file generated, completed the following to import.

  1. Log into your the backend of your site
  2. Hover on Orders
  3. Click All Orders
  4. Click the Tracking button
  5. Click Choose File and locate your CSV file on your computer
  6. Click Upload
  7. Note: this will not send an email to the customer, you will need to edit the orders and change your Order Status and click Update Order to send a message to them. 

Getting a list of Order numbers:

  1. If you do not already have a list of your order numbers from another program you can export them from WSM
  2. Log into your site
  3. Hover on Orders
  4. Click the status you want to export
  5. Once you are viewing the orders click one of the Export Order buttons to download a CSV file. 
  6. NOTE: If you use the Export XML button it will change the order status to Processing
