ORDER IN PROGRESS SECTION

An Order In Progress is an order that was placed but where no monetary transaction occurred. For example: when a customer has added an item to their cart and/or has started the process of checking out but then did NOT submit their order.

How to access your orders in progress section:

  1. Log into your account in Web Shop Manager
  2. Hover over Reports
  3. Click on Orders in Progress

How to edit a specific order:

  1. Click on the pencil and paper icon next to the order that you want to edit
  2. Add any additional information to the order
  3. If you want the customer to get an update of this order being updated, on the bottom right keep the check mark in the box next to Email this customer an update notification
  4. If you do NOT want the customer to receive an update of this order being edited uncheck the box next to Email this customer an update notification
  5. Click Update Order at the bottom of the order

How to change status of an order in orders in progress:

  1. If an order is in orders and progress and you were able to run the transaction and you want to change the status of the order
  2. Edit the order
  3. On the top of the order click on the arrow next to the Order Status
  4. Change the status of the order based on where the order is in your companies processing process
  5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page
  6. If you want the customer to get an update of this order being updated, on the bottom right keep the check mark in the box next to Email this customer an update notification.
  7. If you do NOT want the customer to receive an update of this order being edited uncheck the box next to Email this customer an update notification.
  8. Click Update Order at the bottom of the order
