Products Missing from Listings, Search, or Vehicle Fitment Results

If a product exists in your store but isn't appearing where you expect—in a category listing, in search results, or under a vehicle's fitment (Year/Make/Model) results—there are a couple of common causes that are easy to work through.

This article covers two of them:

    • A recently added or edited product that hasn't appeared yet
    • An entire vehicle line or group of products missing from fitment-based search and browsing
Note: This article does not cover products hidden due to category assignment, or products returning a 404 error on their own page. Those situations are addressed in separate articles.

1. A New or Recently Edited Product Isn't Showing Yet

When you add a brand-new product or make edits to an existing one, the change may not appear instantly across your category listings and search results. This is usually normal and temporary.

Your store keeps a product index—essentially a searchable map of your catalog that powers listings and search. When you add or edit a product, that index needs a short amount of time to update. Until it does, the product may be missing from listings or search even though:

    • It is not hidden
    • It is not returning a 404 error
    • It shows as active in your admin

What to do

    • Confirm the product is active in your admin and not assigned only to a hidden category.
    • Wait a reasonable amount of time to allow the index to refresh. In most cases, the product will appear on its own.
    • Re-check the listing or search after waiting, ideally in a private/incognito browser window or on a different device to rule out cached pages.

If it still doesn't appear

If a reasonable amount of time has passed and the product is still missing, contact our support team. To help us resolve it quickly, please include:

    • The product ID (or stock/part number)
    • The URL where the product should appear
    • A note that the product is active and not hidden
2. An Entire Vehicle Line or Group of Products Is Missing from Fitment (YMM) Results

If shoppers browse or search by Year / Make / Model (YMM) and an entire vehicle line, submodel, or subcategory of products suddenly disappears—even though those products still exist in your catalog—this usually points to a fitment/index configuration issue rather than a problem with the individual products.

Signs of this type of issue include:

    • All products for a specific vehicle (for example, a UTV or truck line) stop appearing in fitment-based search or browsing
    • A submodel or subcategory shows no products, or only a few, under YMM filtering
    • The products are still present and active in your admin when you check the back end
Because the products themselves still exist, unhiding or re-adding them typically won't fix this. The problem is with how the fitment data is being indexed and matched to vehicles.

What to do

    • Verify the products still exist in your admin and are active.
    • Test browsing without a vehicle selected to confirm the products appear outside of fitment filtering. If they show up when no vehicle is selected but disappear once a vehicle is chosen, this confirms a fitment-related cause.
    • Contact support so we can review the fitment/index configuration.
When you reach out, please include:
    • The affected vehicle line, submodel, or subcategory
    • The URL where the products should appear under YMM
    • One or more example product IDs or part numbers that are missing from fitment results
Our team can then investigate and correct the fitment indexing so the affected vehicle results are restored.

Quick Reference

| Situation | Likely Cause | Next Step |

| One new/edited product missing from listings or search | Product index still updating | Wait, then contact support with the product ID if it persists |

| A whole vehicle line/submodel/subcategory gone from YMM results | Fitment/index configuration issue | Contact support with the vehicle and example product IDs |

If you're unsure which situation applies, contact support with the product URL and ID, and we'll help identify the cause.
