URGENT: FedEx Action needed by 8/31/2024

This page is for website that already have FedEx enabled and only need to update based on FedEx changes.

Requirements to complete this action:

1. Your FedEx login.
2. Your website login.
3. Watch the video below before you start the process.

Log into your FedEx Account

1. For the U.S. go to https://www.fedex.com/secure-login/en-us/#/login-credentials
2. For Canada, go to: https://www.fedex.com/secure-login/en-ca/#/login-credentials
3. Log in with your FedEx username and password

Generating the FedEx Address Validation API credentials

1. After logging in go to the My Projects page
   U.S. https://developer.fedex.com/api/en-us/project.html#/myprojects
   Canada: https://developer.fedex.com/api/en-ca/project.html#/myprojects
2. Click the "CREATE API PROJECT" button.
3. Select "Ships with FedEx and needs to integrate FedEx APIs into their system", then click "Next".
4. Select the "Ship, Rate & other APIs" option, scroll down, check the "Address Validation API" option, and click "Next" at the bottom of the page.
5. Fill out the form, select "No" for both checkboxes and then click "Continue."
   1. Select and add all applicable countries you intend to ship to from the dropdown.  
6. Accept the terms and conditions, then click "CREATE".
7. On the "Project Overview" page, go to "Production Key".
8. Complete the registration process to obtain the production credentials for the Address Validation API. Keep a copy on a text file.

Add the credentials to your website

1. Log into WSM.
2. Highlight System.
3. Click Configuration.
4. Click the Shipping & Handling tab.
5. Click the checkbox to "Use new FedEx Address Validation"
6. Click Save Changes to see the new fields.
   
   
   
7. Add the API key and Secret Key from the FedEx Address Validation API credentials
8. Click Save Changes.
